Philanthropy for Better Cities 2026
Fondation de France Asia (FDFA) has recently conducted an active programme of engagements in Hong Kong across the fields of public health, culture, and philanthropy. In August and September, the team participated in major regional gatherings, including Philanthropy for Better Cities 2026 in Hong Kong and the AVPN Global Conference in India. These events provided valuable opportunities to strengthen partnerships, share knowledge, and explore collaborative solutions to social and environmental challenge

The team then welcomed Dr. Carolina Espina of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), one of FDFA’s partners, to advance discussions on the Asian Code Against Cancer, a dedicated initiative of the agency to develop evidence-based cancer prevention recommendations tailored to the Asian context, empowering individuals to reduce their cancer risk while supporting governments and health systems in strengthening cancer prevention policies and programmes across the region.
