Investing in Futures: Discover the IÉSEG Foundation’s Commitment to Opportunity
IÉSEG School of Management, a highly regarded institution committed to providing a world-class business education, understands that talent and ambition can sometimes be hindered by financial constraints. Recognising this, the IÉSEG Foundation (operating under the umbrella of the Fondation de la Catho de Lille) stands as a vital pillar dedicated to ensuring that deserving students, both French and international, have the opportunity to pursue their academic dreams.
Since its relaunch at the end of 2022, the IÉSEG Foundation has offered a tailored scholarship program and plays a pivotal role in fostering a diverse, inclusive, and innovative environment within the IÉSEG School of Management community. The Foundation is dedicated to promoting social openness, excellence, and entrepreneurship. Its initiatives are designed to support all students before, during, and after their studies, ensuring that financial, social, and cultural barriers must not hinder access to a quality education and personal fulfilment. By offering scholarships and interest-free loans, the Foundation actively works to break down financial barriers, foster social diversity, and cultivate an inclusive and dynamic learning environment within the IÉSEG community.
“Fondation IESEG explains that parents and partner companies contribute to their initiatives. Can you elaborate on how these partnerships function and the different ways that parents and companies can get involved?”
The Foundation positions itself as a catalyst for synergies and collaboration. Our ecosystem accommodates parents, partner companies, employees, students, etc. In 2025, we created the notion of Ambassadors. Ambassadors play a crucial role in the development of the Foundation. Anyone (France or abroad) can become an ambassador if you become a donor, agree to be a volunteer, follow the onboarding process, and sign the Foundation Charter. This initiative is still very new but is gradually expected to develop. Find out more information: https://fondation.ieseg.fr/en/support-us/ambassadors/
“For potential donors considering supporting Fondation IESEG, can you explain how their contributions make a tangible difference? What are some specific examples of how donations have been used to support students and improve the IESEG experience?”
More than 98% of donations are directly allocated to the cause supported by the Foundation: social openness. It is important to consider that all of the Foundation’s administrative costs are covered by the School. IÉSEG School of management, for its part, has been publishing an annual impact report and the IÉSEG Foundation has been producing an annual report since 2024. We want the highest level of transparency regarding our achievements in promoting the success of young people. An ethical charter of the Foundation has also been established, outlining our ambitions and our framework to internal and external stakeholders. Today, all donations collected are used in the way of scholarships and allocated to French and international students to facilitate their access to our school. Our last committee meeting was held at the end of 2024 to help more than 100 students from 2024.
