The ESSEC Foundation was created in 2011, under the aegis of the Fondation de France, by four alumni committed to support ESSEC development in the short and long term.
The ESSEC Foundation supports the school’s development and global influence through its five key priorities:
- Social Scholarships to enable talented students facing financial difficulties to access high-quality education.
- Next-Generation Campus to transform the Cergy campus into a cutting-edge, eco-responsible model institution.
- Responsible Entrepreneurship to help student entrepreneurs bring their projects to life.
- Academic Excellence to foster high-level research and innovative teaching.
- Endowment Fund to provide ESSEC with long-term financial resources and ensure its independence.

THE CAUSE WE SUPPORT:
Asian donors can support ESSEC Foundation by promoting education and alleviating poverty through:
- Social Scholarships: thanks to the generosity of our donors, the ESSEC Foundation has already supported over 2,500 students since 2011. In 2024, 432 students received a social scholarship. ESSEC Business School has now adopted a strategy to increase the number of scholarship beneficiaries of its Grande École Master program from 23 % to 27 % by 2030.
- Academic Excellence: each year, the ESSEC Foundation awards prizes to support outstanding research and innovative teaching by exceptional members of ESSEC’s faculty (102 prizes since 2011). Professorships and fellowships also play a key role in advancing high level research in various domains.
