ÉCOLE NORMALE DE MUSIQUE DE PARIS – SUPPORT BRIDGING CULTURES THROUGH MUSIC

The École Normale de Musique de Paris is one of Europe’s last remaining private higher music institutions. Founded in 1919 by the legendary pianist Alfred Cortot, the School offers elite training in instrumental performance, conducting, composition, and vocal studies.

With over 70% international students, it is a hub of cultural exchange, where the French musical tradition meets global artistic voices.

The ENMP’s long-standing ties with Asia, including academic partnerships in Japan, South Korea, China, and upcoming collaborations in Taiwan and Hong Kong, reflect its commitment to fostering a global dialogue in music.

THE CAUSE WE SUPPORT

To continue nurturing the most talented Asian musicians, regardless of their financial background, the ENMP is dedicated to offering full scholarships (HK$133,000/year) to the brightest students. These scholarships will cover tuition and part of living expenses, ensuring that financial limitations do not prevent deserving young artists from studying at one of Europe’s most prestigious institutions.

With 40% of the student body hailing from Asia, the ENMP continues to actively seek out new talents through auditions held across key Asian cities—Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, and soon Taipei and Hong Kong—ensuring that the future of classical music remains diverse and globally connected.

Target amount for pledge: HK$133,000 per student per year
